DVAP’s mentor attorneys assist volunteer
attorneys on their pro bono cases. The Mentor Attorneys will do everything from provide advice and form pleadings to reviewing pleadings and sitting second chair with volunteers in court.
DVAP also has group of volunteer attorneys, specialists in their areas of practice, who have agreed to mentor other volunteer attorneys on their DVAP cases. Mentors are available for bankruptcy, benefits, consumer, employment, estate planning, family, low-income housing, landlord-tenant, and probate matters.
