MENTORING
DVAP’s mentor attorneys assist volunteer attorneys on their pro bono cases. The mentor attorneys provide advice and forms, review pleadings, and are available to sit second chair with volunteers in court.
DVAP also has a group of attorneys, specialists in their areas of practice, who have agreed to mentor other volunteer attorneys on their DVAP cases. Mentors are available for bankruptcy, benefits, consumer, employment, estate planning, family, housing, landlord-tenant, and probate matters.
