• • How did you first get involved in pro bono?

I volunteered for the legal help line. I realized I could do more with helping others who couldn’t afford quality legal services. It has been a goal of mine to provide those services.

• • Describe your most compelling pro bono case.

A disabled client seeking a divorce was abandoned by her spouse and couldn’t afford legal services. I was able to assist her.

• • Why do you do pro bono?

Giving back to those in need and never expecting anything in return is the best feeling. I enjoy helping those who can’t afford legal services.

• • What impact has pro bono service had on your career?

I would say networking has been a great benefit for me.

• • What is the most unexpected benefit you have received from doing pro bono?

It brings me happiness to see clients’ joy when I have been able to provide great legal services. It’s a rewarding Disney storybook feeling for me.
